   You know, I feel it’s been instructive to live in a  country where the good folks running it

 for the last  eight years have been such an enduring source of  inspiration. 

   Among other things ...

    *  They’ve taught me the importance of truth through the consequences of obscuring it.

    *  They’ve shared with me their gospel of  brotherhood, while advancing the doctrine of every man  for himself.

    *  They’ve taught me the value of every single vote through the ones left uncounted.

     ...And they’ve inspired me to write a few new songs.
